Honda VTEC Solenoid & Pressure Switch Conversion Harness
This VTEC solenoid and pressure switch conversion harness is designed for OBD1 ECU VTEC conversion swaps, including B-series non-VTEC to VTEC conversions and other applications where dedicated VTEC wiring is required.
The harness provides proper wiring from the engine bay to the ECU using correct OBD1 ECU pins, allowing VTEC control to function as intended on P28, chipped OBD1 ECUs, and similar setups.
Designed for OBD1 VTEC Conversions
This harness supports common VTEC conversion scenarios where the factory chassis or engine harness does not include VTEC wiring. It is ideal for LS-VTEC builds, D-series VTEC conversions, and custom engine setups using OBD1 engine management.
All wiring is properly terminated to support ECU-controlled VTEC engagement and, when applicable, VTEC oil pressure monitoring.
Selectable Configuration Options
This VTEC conversion harness is available in two selectable configurations to match your specific setup.
The VTEC solenoid–only option includes the wiring and ECU pin required for VTEC solenoid control, commonly used for P28 or chipped OBD1 ECU setups where a pressure switch input is not required.
The complete VTEC solenoid and pressure switch option includes wiring for both the VTEC solenoid and the VTEC oil pressure switch, providing everything needed for a full VTEC conversion with ECU monitoring.

Mil-Spec Wire Construction
This harness is built in-house using top-tier mil-spec M22759/32 (Tefzel) wire, offering excellent heat resistance, durability, and long-term reliability.
Harness length is approximately OEM length plus one additional foot, providing extra flexibility for routing in swapped or tucked engine bay configurations. Loom is applied where appropriate, with DR-25 used when loomed sections are required.
OEM-Style Connectors & Proper ECU Termination
OEM-style engine bay connectors are used to ensure proper fitment at the VTEC solenoid and pressure switch. ECU-side wiring is terminated with correct OBD1 ECU pins for direct insertion into compatible ECUs or conversion harnesses.
This ensures a clean, professional installation without splicing or guesswork.
